About this repository
Who am I? I'm a curious human who loves to observe and learn. You'll probably learn more about me based on what I share in this blog.
I decided to write online about things I changed my mind on in the hopes of helping people to be more open to changing their minds, especially when presented with new information, facts, or ideas. While it seems to be easy to do, it's quite hard to fight cognitive biases, tradition, and more so the comfort of being sure. It's definitely difficult to admit when you're wrong and persuade others that they are wrong ("it's you, not me!" - sounds familiar?). Plus, there's a satisfaction to being right which most won't give up.
We evolve when we upgrade our ways of thinking. And that includes admission of mistakes, doing something about it, and then recalibrating our thoughts to the new information or facts.
You can continue to believe what you want to believe - it's a choice you make. I choose to learn by writing about things that made me challenge the way I think and if it did, change my mind.
